I have got extensive experience in the evaluation of new technologies applied to products and services in ICT, Electronics, Mechatronics and Life Sciences and as advisor for entrepreneurs specialized in the definition of new business models for disruptive innovations. I have written several pitch decks for investors (VC and Business Angels), with a key role in the negotiation of the term sheet. I am senior adviser to researchers in the field of IP protection, licensing negotiation and in the definition of R&D sponsorship agreement.
I’m an Electrical engineer and hold a PhD degree in “Regional Institutions, Administration and Policies” (IAPR) with a thesis on Organization of Knowledge Transfer Offices in Higher Education. I attended “Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry” at the Lehigh University & Iacocca institute in Pennsylvania (USA). I worked as TT manager for the University of Pavia, Polietcnico di Milano and then in the Scientific Park of the University of Pavia. In 2014 I decided to have a better understanding of the technology transfer matter outside europe, learning by doing @Innovate Calgary. Innovate Calgary is the technology-transfer and business-incubation centre for the University of Calgary. In 2015 I was a visiting fellow @ University of Sussex – Brighton (UK), she worked at the SPRU (Science Policy Research Unit). Today I’m the cluster manager of the Lombardy Life Science cluster, representing Lombardy Region Life Sciences community at European level.
